Abstract
The use of dimethyllaurylbenzylammonium bromide (Sterinol) as a new ion‐association factor for chromatography of a number of azo‐derivatives of 2‐amino‐1,3,4‐oxadiazole and 1,2,4‐triazole has been described. The influence of ion‐association reagent concentration, as well as that of methanol in mobile phase and its pH on retention of the analyzed compounds was investigated. The R M parameters were compared with the results obtained for other counter‐ions used. The influence of the structure of heteroazophenols on their chromatographic behaviour has been discussed.
