Abstract
The Costald equation has been generalized to permit calculation of densities of oil-stocks and their mixtures using critical temperature, critical pressure, characteristic volume, Soave-Redlich-Kwong acentric factor, and molecular weight.
Adaptation of the Costald equation with Hankinson-Brobst-Thomson technique offers flexibility for estimating densities. This new method provides accurate and computationally reliable prediction of oil-stocks densities.
