Notes: Epididymal adipose tissue from P. obesus was fractionated into adipocytes and stromal/vascular cells and gene expression measured by RT-PCR. Data are mean ± SEM (n = 5 per group). Overall, biglycan gene expression was significantly higher in the stromal/vascular compared to adipocyte fraction (*P < 0.023).
