Meaning of infertility:
What do you think infertility means? Tell me about the importance of children to you and your family. What does it mean to be sterile in your community? How are infertile people treated in your community?
Infertility experiences:
Tell me about your experience with infertility. How did you find out that you and your spouse are infertile? Do you have family members or others who have started asking questions about your fertility? Have family members or others given infertility advice? If so, what is their advice?
Reactions to infertility within the family:
Has infertility changed your relationships with your family and the spouse’s family? How did you tell your family and the spouse’s family about your infertility, and what were their reactions? Have your family members changed their attitudes and behaviors towards you since you suffered from infertility? How so? Have you felt that people are talking about your infertility? Do you feel uncomfortable among family or friends? How so?
