Figure 2 Best-corrected visual acuity (BCVA, in logarithm of the minimum angle of resolution [logMAR]) in eyes with each type of lamellar macular hole (LMH). BCVA significantly improved after surgery in eyes with degenerative LMH and those with tractional LMH. Compared with BCVA at 1 month postoperatively, BCVA was significantly improved at 12 months postoperatively in eyes with tractional LMH and those with degenerative LMH. BCVA did not significantly differ between the two groups at 12 months postoperatively.
