The areas analyzed were identified and marked by a pathologist. Slides were then dewaxed using the Paraffin Pretreatment Reagent Kit (Vysis, Abbott) and subjected to overnight hybridization with a molecular probe according to the manufacturer’s protocol (Vysis, Abbott).
