Figure 1 Triamcinolone acetonide is injected using a blunt cannula prior to conjunctival closure. The cannula is inserted in the hub and the steroid depot is injected in the retrobulbar space.

Figure 2 Two interrupted 9-0 vicryl sutures reapproximate the conjunctiva at the end of the case.
