THE AUTHORS
Zili Sloboda, Sc.D., Director of Research and Development Center, JBS International, Inc., is an expert on the prevention of substance abuse. She has served as the Director of the Division of Epidemiology and Prevention Research, National Institute on Drug Abuse, overseeing a national research programs in HIV/AIDS and drug abuse epidemiology and prevention and had the responsibility for national epidemiologic and treatment data systems. She was a founder of the Society for Prevention Research and is well published in the area of drug abuse epidemiology and prevention. Her vision is to increase the science basis for prevention strategies and to advance the unique science of prevention.
