When the above article was first published online, the last sentence in the Abstract – Results section had errors: “Smoking and alcohol consumption were significantly more common among HPV+/p16+ patients but also rather common among HPV−/p16− patients”. This has now been corrected in both the print and online versions to “Smoking and heavy alcohol consumption were significantly more common among HPV−/p16− patients but also rather common among HPV+/p16+ patients”.
