Pages 222-226 | Published online: 27 Dec 2007

Abstract

Much progress has been made in the protection of health and safety through the study of the toxicological properties of materials used in home and industry. It is time that the objectives and methods of these studies be re-examined in the light of broadened concepts for the future. Our techniques and goals must be more precise and better defined to meet the changes of progress and time.
