Abstract
We prove the projective equivalence between a pentagon and its image via the pentagram map, respectively between a hexagon and its image via the square of the pentagram map.

ALEXANDRU TUPAN received his Ph.D. in mathematics from Johns Hopkins University. He is currently a professor of mathematics at the University of Wisconsin, River Falls. His mathematical interests are in the areas of algebra and geometry with an emphasis on number theory and arithmetic geometry. In his free time, he enjoys taking nature walks with Eun Young and their children Angela and Andrei.
