Abstract
The simplex-stochastic resonance algorithm (SSRA) was applied to amplification and detection of the weak High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) chromatographic signals of coumatetralyl in plasma. In this algorithm, modified simplex algorithm was embedded to greatly enhance the signal-to-noise ratio of chromatographic signals. The application of SSRA to detect HPLC/UV weak signals of coumatetralyl showed an excellent quantitative relationship between different concentrations and responses. The assay was linear over the concentration range of 3–100 ng/mL, r = 0.9997, and RSD < 10%. The good linearity and precision demonstrated that it is an effective algorithm for detecting weak chromatographic peaks.
