Abstract
A chronopotentiometric study of the reduction Cm(III) + 3e → Cm(0) is reported. The diffusion coefficient increases from 3.6×10−6 cm2 sec−1 to 17.2×10−6 cm2 sec−1 in the temperature range 400−550°C. Diffusion data of various +1, +2, +3 and +4 ions are compared with regard to the charge density of the ions.
