Abstract
Theory and application of colloidal palladium modifier in electrothermal atomic absorption spectrometry and related techniques is critically discussed. According to the theoretical basis and the experimental data published, it is a very effective modifier, which is especially promising for solution of the challenging tasks such as direct analysis of solids.
