Notes on contributors

Nicoleta Elena Dina

Dr. Nicoleta Elena Dina received her Ph.D. in Physics from Babeş-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. For her thesis, she employed experimental vibrational spectroscopic techniques coupled with theoretical methods for investigating biomolecules and pathogenic microorganisms relevant in food science, drug monitoring, and clinical applications. Since 2015, she has been a scientific researcher at the National Institute for Research and Development of Isotopic and Molecular Technologies (INCDTIM), Cluj-Napoca, Romania. She is an Editor of the Special Issue volume of AIP Conference Proceedings for the 11th International Conference on Processes in Isotopes and Molecules. Her current research interests include molecular spectroscopy, micro-Raman spectroscopy, microfluidics, and chemometrics.

Ioan Turcu

Dr. Ioan Turcu received his Ph.D. in Physics from the Institute of Atomic Physics, Bucharest, Romania. Since 2005, he has served as the Head of Molecular and Biomolecular Physics Department of The National Institute for Research and Development of Isotopic and Molecular Technologies, Cluj-Napoca, Romania. He is an active member of The Romanian Physical Society (RPS) having the position of Vice President of the society. He is an Editor of the Special Issue volume of AIP Conference Proceedings for the Tenth and Eleventh International Conference on Processes in Isotopes and Molecules (PIM 2015 and PIM 2017). He has published 60 research articles in international refereed journals and he is an active reviewer for approximately 15 international journals. His current research interests include the self-assembly of supramolecular systems based on molecular recognition processes; the fabrication and characterization of supramolecular structures with controlled architecture and functionality; molecular devices; and molecular electronics.
