Eigenvalue intervlas for nonlinear right focal problems

Abstract

We consider the nonlinear right focal eigenvalue problem

value of the parameterλ are determined for which this problem has a positive solution. The methods used here extend recent works by allowing for a broader class of functions for a(t). Optimal eigenvalue interclas are given for some relevant examples.
