A second-order dynamical approach with variable damping to nonconvex smooth minimization

Radu Ioan Boţ, Ernö Robert Csetnek & Szilárd Csaba László (2018) A second-order dynamical approach with variable damping to nonconvex smooth minimization, Applicable Analysis, doi: 10.1080/00036811.2018.1495330

When the article was first published online, the last three sentences of the abstract were reproduced incorrectly. The last three sentences should read as follows:

We show that the generated trajectory converges to a critical point, if a regularization of the objective function satisfies the Kurdyka- Lojasiewicz property. We also provide convergence rates for the trajectory formulated in terms of the Lojasiewicz exponent.

This has now been corrected in both the print and online versions.
