ABSTRACT

In this article, the Ekeland variational principle, mountain pass theorem and Trudinger–Moser inequality are applied to establish the existence and multiplicity of solutions for the following nonhomogeneous Kirchhoff-type elliptic problem: mΩ|u|2dxΔu=f(x,u)+ϵh(x)in Ω;u=0on Ω, where Ω is a smooth bounded domain in R2, m:R+R+ is a Kirchhoff function, f:Ω×RR is a continuous function, hW01,2(Ω)=W1,2, h 0, h0, and ε is a small positive parameter. The nonlinearity term f(x,s) behaves like eα0s2 when |s| for some α0>0.
