Flow invariance and viability for differential inclusions

Pages 235-243 | Published online: 02 May 2007

Abstract

In this paper we prove an existence theorem for differential inclusions defined on a closed subset of a Banach space (viability theorem). We also prove some flow invariance theorems using a more general tangential condition than Redheffer-Walter [10], which can handle nonsmooth problems too. Our results extend those of [10] to a multivalued setting
