We report the observation of oscillations in rich, light hydrocarbon-air and lean, heavy hydrocarbon-air low pressure flames. Such oscillations are predicted by recent theoretical studies of the stability of laminar premixed flames. The observed oscillation frequencies range from 15 to 65 Hz.
