Joseph Newirth

Joseph Newirth, Ph.D., A.B.P.P., is a graduate of the William Alanson White Psychoanalytic Institute. He is a professor at the Gordon F. Derner Institute of Advanced Psychological Studies at Aldephi University. His book Between Emotion and Cognition: The Generative Unconscious was the recipient of the Gradiva Award given by the National Association for the Advancement of Psychoanalysis.
