Nairobi Street-Aesthetics: Distance and Proximity in the Aesthetics of Everyday Life in the Green City

Article title: Nairobi Street-Aesthetics: Distance and Proximity in the Aesthetics of Everyday Life in the Green City

Authors: Nicklas Hållén

Journal: English Studies in Africa

DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.1080/00138398.2023.2128525

When this article was first published, a sentence on page 4 attributed Steve Bloom’s photo book to Moore:

“The aesthetic that Dovey and King discuss and that is manifested in Moore’s photobook is in other words intimately connected with informal and improvisational strategies of getting by and of inhabiting the city.”

This has now been corrected, in addition to other smaller errors that do not impact the academic content of the article.
