Abstract
Thermal behaviour of polarization in ceramic Pb(Mg1/2W1/2)1−xTixO3 (x=0.4–0.5) solid solutions has been studied. Spontaneous transition from relaxor to ferroelectric state has been revealed. Electrocaloric effect in the examined compositions has been estimated from experimental P(T,E) data. Relaxor behaviour is enhanced with the decrease of Ti content while the electrocaloric effect is decreased.
