Abstract

Results of Brillouin light scattering studies of the behavior of acoustic phonons in PMN, PMT and BMT crystals in a wide temperature range are presented. It is shown that the behavior of a transverse acoustic phonon in PMN crystals is not adequately described by the mode-coupling model.
