Abstract
Apparent dielectric spectra of semiconducting CdF2 burdened with response of parasitic Schottky capacitors are compared with real spectra of dielectrics and relaxors. Analogies found reveal crucial role of free charges in creating electrical heterogeneities in nominally perfect dielectrics, which determine distinguished anomalies in dielectric response.
