Phase Transitions of the Mixed System of (Rb_{1 − x}Cs_x)₂ZnI₄

The mixed system of (Rb _{1− x} Cs _x ) ₂ ZnI ₄ was prepared over full range of x by Bridgman method and the phase transitional properties were investigated. The melting point T _m , α − β phase transition point T_{α −β} and dielectric peak temperature T _C of both Rb₂ZnI₄ and Cs ₂ ZnI ₄ were obtained as the function of x. Obtained results were discussed in connection with supecooling of α − β phase transition.
