Abstract

Lead-free piezoelectric ceramics 0.94(NaxK1 - x)NbO 3 -0.06LiNbO 3 (abbreviated as NKNLx, 0.45 ≤ x ≤ 0.53) have been prepared by the conventional mixed oxide ceramics processing. Effects of Na content on the phase structure, piezoelectric, dielectric, and ferroelectric properties of NKNLx ceramics were investigated. Experimental results show that all ceramics samples possess pure perovskite phase. The ceramics with x = 0.49 exhibit the optimum electrical properties (d33 = 232 pC/N, k p = 40%, Tc = 480°C). Moreover, it is found that the content of Na in the NKNLx ceramics has a slight effect on the Curie temperature.
