Abstract
The microwave dielectric properties and crystal structure of the ZnO-xSnO 2 -(2–x)TiO 2 -Nb 2 O 5 ceramics were investigated. There were two phases existing in the ceramics: ixiolite phase ZnTiNb 2 O 8 and rutile phase Zn 0.15 Nb 0.30 Ti 0.55 O 2 . The mass percentage of phase ZnTiNb 2 O 8 increased with increasing of SnO 2 content from 0.02 to 0.08, and when x ≥ 0.08 the mass percentage of phase ZnTiNb 2 O 8 decreased. For the dielectric constant and dielectric loss of the ceramics, these values ranged from 49 to 63 and from 2.4× 10− 4 to 0.30× 10− 4, respectively. The temperature coefficient of the ceramics decreased from −132 × 10− 6/°C to −12 × 10− 6/°C.
