Abstract
PMN-PT relaxor ferroelectric single crystals were reported to exhibit excellent piezoelectric and dielectric properties in the last decade. However, the fluctuation in electrical properties of the crystal grown by Bridgman technique always exists. The relationship between piezoelectric, dielectric properties and elements' distribution of PMN-32PT single crystals were studied in this work. Results indicated that elements' distribution were important origins to the property inhomogeneity. The d 33 of PMN-32PT crystals decreased with the decrease of O and the increase of Nb. The dielectric properties of PMN-32PT crystals depended sensitively upon the heterogeneous of Ti.
