Abstract
Lead-free BiMe2/3Sb1/3O3 (Me = Co, Mg, Ni, Zn) ceramic compounds have been successfully synthesized by the conventional method. X-ray diffraction technique was used to investigate the phase evolution of calcined powders and sintered samples. Microstructures of sintered pellets were studied by the scanning electron microscopic techniques. To reveal the phase transitions in new compounds the low-frequency acoustic study was carried out, and data obtained were compared with the dielectric response of the samples in the temperature interval of 300–850 K.
