Abstract
(1-x)Bi(Sc0.9(Zn1/2Ti1/2)0.1)O3-xPbTiO3 ((1-x)BSZT-xPT) (0.58 ≤ x ≤ 0.66) ceramics were prepared by the traditional ceramic process. The evolution of phase structure with PT content in (1-x)BSZT-xPT ceramics were investigated by XRD. The MPB composition in BSZT-PT system moved from x = 0.64 to x = 0.60 compared to BiScO3-PbTiO3 (BS-PT) ceramics. The piezoelectric properties d33 and kp of MPB composition in BSZT-PT system were studied. The phase transition temperature was 463°C for x = 0.60. At Curie temperature, the abnormal large dielectric constants were observed, due to compensated chemical valence of bismuth and lead elements forming high insulation layer in the grain boundary by the high ion diffuse.
