Abstract
The paper presents results of studies on phase transitions in RbIn(MoO4)2 at 163 and 143 K obtained using the electron paramagnetic resonance and polarised light microscopy. It has been found that the ferroelastic phase transition observed around 143 K is split into two closely situated transitions separated by a temperature interval of around 0.2 K. It has been found that these phases coexist in a temperature range of few dozen degrees.
