Abstract
In this study, lead-free Sb substituted (Na0.525K0.4425Li0.0375)(Nb0.9625Ta0.0375)O3 ceramics were synthesized by traditional solid state sintering process. The effects of Sb substitution on the dielectric and piezoelectric properties were investigated in order to develop excellent lead-free piezoelectric ceramics. The (Na0.525K0.4425Li0.0375)(Nb0.9625-xSbxTa0.0375)O3 ceramics with x = 0.065 showed excellent piezoelectric properties. The piezoelectric constant (d33), electromechanical coupling factor (kp), dielectric constant (ϵr) and density were optimized as 193 pC/N, 50.25%, 703 and 4.48 g/cm3, respectively.
