ABSTRACT
Particulate magnetoelectric composites (x)Mn0.4Zn0.6Fe2O4 – (1-x)PbZr0.53Ti0.47O3 with x = 0, 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, 0.4, and 0.8 have been prepared using the ceramic technology. Prepared composites with x = 0.2 was revealed to be characterized by the crossover from the ordinary ferroelectric state to the relaxor ferroelectric state, and figure of merits of their magnetoelectric properties for the relaxor ferroelectric state exceed similar values for the ordinary ferroelectric state.
