Abstract
This research article compares the growth rate along the directions [100], [010], and [001] of Rochelle salt crystals grown using the Sankaranarayanan–Ramasamy method, reports its electrical resistivity near its two Curie temperatures along the directions [100], [010], [001], [110], [011], and [101], presents the evaluated activation energy in the paraelectric and ferroelectric phases of the crystal, points out the change in the value of activation energy at Curie temperatures of the crystal, displays the anomalous behavior of the photocurrent along the polarization direction [100] of the crystal around the two Curie temperatures, and discusses the photo-stimulated shifts of the Curie temperatures.
