Abstract

This study is devoted to clarifying the influence of silicon dioxide nanoparticles on dielectric relaxation properties of classical ferroelectric triglycine sulfate at frequencies of 102÷107Hz in ferroelectric phase. A mixed composite at different composition mass ratios was synthesized. It was indicated that relaxation frequency of triglycine sulfate inclusion decreased as compared to that of its single crystals and shifted toward lower frequencies with silicon dioxide content increase. The linear dispersion region characteristic for single crystals of triglycine sulfate was expanded. The obtained anomalies were explained based on the assumption of strong interaction between composite components through hydrogen bonds.
