Abstract

In this work, on the base of piezoelectric and pyroelectric measurements, it was shown that the calcium orthovanadate crystals pure and doped exhibit a natural unipolar state. Doping these crystals with manganese and thulium ions did not affect the magnitude and behavior of dielectric permittivity. However, the presence of doping ions led to reducing the local piezoelectric response and stabilizing the unipolar state.
