The specific heats of ferroelectric, single-crystal samples of BaTiO3 and K.H2PO4 have been measured to temperatures as low as 0.1 K. An anomalous contribution appears below ≈ 0.5 K, but the anomaly is much smaller than reported previously. The data do not provide support for a precise T3/2 temperature dependence.
