Ferrobielectric properties of LiCsSO4 crystals have been studied and discussed in terms of reorientation of representation ellipsoid for the low frequency dielectric permittivity tensor. It has been shown that under uniaxial stress the dielectric permittivity changes considerably as the crystal is being shifted from one orientation state to the other. Both, the direction and the amplitude of this change have been found to be temperature dependent.
