75As NMR studies of polar clusters above Tc in KH2AsO4

Pages 19-26 | Published online: 08 Feb 2011

Abstract

All essential features of the anomalous 75As NMR spectrum in the non-polar phase of potassium dihydrogen phosphate (KDA) may be explained in terms of spectral density peaks which result from the formation of polar clusters. The available data is very well described in terms of an application of the elementary Slater model. Methods of extracting the polarization distribution function are discussed.
