The first order Raman lines in the paraelectric phase for the ordered and disordered PIN crystals have been investigated. These lines disappear at a temperature where a change of thermal expansion takes place. Mechanism of this high temperature transition is related to the Pb-O chain transformation from the non-linear to the linear form.
