Peculiarities of ferro-antiferroelectric phase transitions. 2. Effects caused by dipole-ordered phase coexistence

Abstract

The effects caused by the coexistence of FE and AFE phases are considered. A great attention is given to consideration of diffusive phase transition to PE state near the FE-AFE-PE triple point. It is shown that the highest degree of diffusiveness of a such transition takes place in the case when PE and AFE phases have the same stability. Two phase nuclei of FE and AFE phase were revealed in PE phase for considered diffusive phase transitions.
