Investigation of the EPR spectra of CsPbCl3:Mn2+ and CsSrCl3:Mn2+ in the cubic-tetragonal phase transition

Abstract

The zero-field splittings b0 2 for Mn2+ ion in CsPbCl3 and CsSrCl3 crystals in the cubic-tetragonal phase transition have been calculated from a simple and uniform formula related to the spin-lattice coupling coefficient G11 in cubic phase. The calculated results show reasonable agreement with the experimental findings.
