Abstract

X-ray, dielectric and second harmonic generation (SHG) measurements were carried out for the system PbZrO₃-Pb(Mg_0.5W_0.5)O₃ in order to refine the phase diagram. A morphotropic phase boundary was established at x = 0.08. Dielectric properties of the ceramic samples were measured at frequencies 1 kHz–100 kHz and showed pronounced relaxor behaviour of solid solutions.
