Abstract
The single crystals of (NH(CH3)3)2ZnCl4 (abbreviately (TrMA)2ZnCl4) were grown at room temperature. On the basis of obtained experimental results one can conclude that crystals of trimethylammoniumtetrachlorozincates possess two phase transitions at Tc c = 276.5 K and Ti = 310 K. Phase lying below Tc is ferroelectric one. Some specific properties of (TrMA)2ZnCl4 in the phase lying between Tc and Ti, allow to suggest the existence of incommensurate phase in this range.
