Abstract
Geografisk Tidsskrift, Danish Journal of Geography 106(2):1–6, 2006
This special issue of the Danish Journal of Geography presents some of the Danish research activities which address themes and problem areas of importance for the Land System Science community. The papers are a subset of the works presented and discussed at the first workshop organized by the Danish Network for Land System Science (LaSyS) in October 2005. As such, it represents some of the theoretical and empirical insights that may constitute the jumping-off ground for a coherent Danish effort within the field of multidisciplinary analyses of coupled human-environmental systems.
