Abstract
The title of this presentation has been used previously(1–4) and suggests ominous overtones. More properly this paper should be entitled “Controllable Technical Problems Associated with Ethylene Oxide Sterilization” since it will summarize the current technical state of ethylene oxide sterilization and some of the problems and cautions that should be exercised in its use in C.S., O.R. and other hospital procedures.
