Abstract
For an even integer n≥4 and an odd prime p, a new family of p-ary sequences with period p
n
−1 is constructed, and it generalizes the construction of binary Kasami sequences in the large set. The proposed family has maximum correlation p
(n/2)+1+1 and family size p
3n/2. The correlation distribution is completely determined by the number of solutions to a system of equations over the finite field .
