Sensitivity Considerations and Comparisons of Sampling Interval Criteria for Discrete-continuous Feedback Control Systems

Pages 101-145 | Received 01 May 1967, Published online: 27 Feb 2007

ABSTRACT

Sensitivity relations have been derived for discrete-continuous systems with sampling interval criteria having linear integrands and results are presented which compare these and other criteria on the basis of the asymptotic equivalence of their corresponding systems.

Comparisons of performance surfaces for these signal dependent sampling systems show an apparent stretching of the surface corresponding with the variation in the asymptotic value of the criterion integrand.
