ABSTRACT
The article aims to identify the origin of the key sources of economic threats to Europe as a result of the Russian invasion, evaluate them and suggest ways to minimise or eliminate such threats. The methods of establishing cause-effect relationships, analysis, synthesis, graphical and cartographic methods, statistical analysis, analysis of dynamics and structure were all used. The background and causes of the war were considered, the economic consequences for Ukraine, including damage to the population and infrastructure, trends in the dynamics of gross domestic product, exports, imports and consumer prices were studied.
